Turn 1 (Michael Schumacher Corner) - heavy braking right-hander at the end of the main straight, renamed in 2014 and F1's classic Bahrain overtaking spot. Turn 10 - tight, downhill, off-camber left-hander widely regarded as the hardest corner on the lap.
The outright lap record stands at 1:31.447, set by Pedro de la Rosa for McLaren in 2005. That is 5.412 km and 15 turns, flat out.
