Circuit de Monaco runs to 3.337 km, 19 turns, 78 racing laps, taken clockwise. A Grand Prix here covers 260.286 km.
Monaco has been on the Formula 1 World Championship calendar since its first season in 1950 and is the only race where cars run through a road tunnel, emerging at close to 290 km/h into the harbour chicane. It is the slowest, tightest circuit of the year and the one leg of motorsport's Triple Crown that F1 still visits.
