Bahrain International Circuit runs to 5.412 km, 15 turns, 57 racing laps, taken clockwise. A Grand Prix here covers 308.238 km.

Sakhir hosted the first Formula 1 Grand Prix ever held in the Middle East in 2004 and has run under floodlights as a night race since 2014. Its abrasive desert asphalt and heavy braking zones make tyre degradation among the highest on the calendar, which is why F1 uses the venue for pre-season testing.
