Turn 1 - a long downhill right-hand sweep into heavy braking, the circuit's main overtaking chance. Turn 4 - a fast downhill right-hander that sets up the twisting middle sector.
Built in 1985, the Hungaroring hosted the first Formula 1 Grand Prix held behind the Iron Curtain in 1986. Its 14 mostly slow and medium-speed corners with almost no straights have earned it the nickname 'Monaco without the walls', where track position outweighs raw pace.
The gold finish
Cut from premium gold mirror acrylic. It is not lit: the finish catches whatever light is in the room, which is what gives it depth.
